Woerden AMS2

Switch Datacenters AMS2 is a retrofit facility located at Polanerbaan 1 in the Amsterdam market. It provides significant scalability and sustainability solutions with its robust infrastructure. The facility ensures high reliability with 2N UPS and 2N generator redundancies, and cooling with N+1 redundancy. The state-of-the-art infrastructure includes uninterruptible power supplies and diesel generators. To achieve the highest possible resiliency, all elements of the electrical systems are fully redundant. A strong focus is on fire protection with the installation of smoke detectors, fireproof walls, placement of fire extinguishers, and a gas fire extinguisher system.
