Switch Datacenters AMS5 represents a significant advancement in data center technology and sustainability. Located approximately 5 kilometers from NIKHEF/AMS-IX at Agriport 109 in Middenmeer, this planned next-generation city data center aims to deliver between 70 to 150 MW at full build. It is designed not only to meet the high-density requirements of modern computing but also to integrate into the local ecosystem by contributing to the largest district heating network in Amsterdam, thereby supporting the Dutch national utility policy for a sustainable and natural gas-independent future.
