The Rostelecom Kaliningrad Data Center, inaugurated on March 15, 2012, is the first commercial data center in the North-Western Federal District of Russia. Built by the NVision Group, this facility spans 150 square meters and offers a useful power capacity of 100 kW, with up to 10 kW per rack. The data center is equipped with 20 server cabinets (42U) to accommodate client equipment. The Kaliningrad Data Center features a structured cable system built in accordance with international standards TIA/EIA-568B and TIA/EIA-942. It utilizes solutions from leading global companies such as Juniper Networks and Hewlett Packard for its active network and server equipment. The facility provides a wide range of services aimed at large enterprises, public sector companies, content providers, and medium and small businesses. The data center is designed to offer high reliability, fault tolerance, and performance, with essential engineering systems such as uninterrupted power supply, precision air conditioning, gas fire extinguishing, and physical security systems. This modern technology platform ensures the safe and efficient accommodation of server and telecommunication equipment, connecting it to data channels and the internet.
