Rotherham YH-1 is a resilient and accredited data centre, strategically located 35 miles south of Leeds and 13 miles northeast of Sheffield, two large and significant northern cities. The facility’s location makes it well suited for production and disaster recovery requirements, with 4 on-site carriers. YH-1 has recently been upgraded in a multi-million pound investment, including a refitted data hall and new electrical infrastructure, offering 2N UPS redundancy. The site has good access to UK road and rail networks, ensuring convenient access for clients. Flexible Colocation options include high-density racks, full, half, and quarter racks, and private cages. Local services include Remote Hands, resilient internet access, and connectivity to hyperscale public clouds, content providers, and global data centres via our partnerships with Megaport and Zayo. As a partially built-out site, YH-1 also has the potential to accommodate customised private suites. YH-1 is part of Pulsant's network of 12 interconnected UK data centres, connected via the Pulsant Edge Fabric, a 100Gb national network for low-latency access to 1,600+ cloud services, network providers, and business partners.
