About This Data Center

In December 2020, Microsoft announced that they were investing in a new Azure data center region for Denmark. The region would be located around the capital of Copenhagen, and was to be powered 100% by renewable energy. The Køge data center was the second site Microsoft broke ground on. The construction project was handled by Exyte.
