About This Data Center
MTL-3 is a community-integrated heat-reuse data center supplying district energy to a 1,000-unit social-housing campus, positioning it as a flagship public-benefit project supporting Montreal’s decarbonization strategy. The site provides 5 MW of compute capacity and 10,000 ft² of data hall area, developed as a retrofit with a 12-month lead time. Heat revalorization and community alignment make MTL-3 a uniquely high-visibility and sustainability-driven deployment location.
