About This Data Center

Equinix TY15 is poised to become a state-of-the-art International Business Exchange (IBX) data center in Tokyo, Japan. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, it will initially offer 1,200 cabinets with a scalable capacity designed to support the growing demand for digital infrastructure. Strategically located approximately 1 kilometer from the existing TY6/TY7/TY8 data centers and 1.5 kilometers from TY2, TY15 will enhance Tokyo's connectivity landscape. It will feature a direct fiber connection to TY2, ensuring high-speed and reliable interconnectivity. The facility is designed with redundancy in mind, with robust electrical and cooling systems to ensure uninterrupted service. TY15 will also adhere to rigorous certification standards, reflecting Equinix's commitment to providing secure and compliant data center services.
