About This Data Center
Atlanta is a strong Edge Data Center market with a growing demand for deploying content and IT infrastructure at the network’s edge, closer to consumer eyeballs and enterprise end users, enabling local access to cloud solutions. Businesses addressing the Atlanta market no longer need to connect to peering centers like Silicon Valley, Chicago, or Dallas to access and distribute content, applications, or data. Now they can deploy and connect to cloud on-ramps from EdgeConneX data centers located in Atlanta.
EdgeConneX offers two data centers in the Atlanta market totaling 16MWs, with multiple leading network service providers deployed and available for connectivity. In addition, we partner with Megaport to deploy their Cloud SDN solution, helping EdgeConneX data center customers connect directly to leading Cloud providers including AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle.
In 2023, the EdgeConneX Atlanta ATL01 data center earned ENERGY STAR® certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This certification represents proven, verified superior energy performance over a 12-month period.
