Arklow DUB30

Echelon's DUB30 facility is located in Kish, Co Wicklow, on a 60-acre site. Phase 1 of the project is designed to provide 90 MW of IT load across three buildings, with plans to expand to a total IT capacity of 150 MW. The site, which covers a footprint of 40,000 square meters (430,000 square feet), has an additional 60 MW of pipeline land ready for a planning application. A 110kV grid substation is pending approval from An Bord Pleanála. Strategically situated just 6 kilometers from Echelon's DUB20 facility, DUB30 offers the potential to form part of a turnkey Availability Zone (AZ), providing end-to-end infrastructure solutions. The proximity of the two sites allows for direct power and fiber duct connections, enhancing operational synergy and connectivity. This strategic positioning enables DUB30 to leverage over 1 GW of renewable energy available in the local area. The DUB30 site in Arklow benefits from its location within a region rich in renewable energy resources. With robust planning in place and its capacity for significant IT load, DUB30 is poised to become a key player in providing sustainable and scalable data center solutions, complementing the existing infrastructure of DUB20.
