DataBank’s PIT2 facility, located in the Summit Park Campus in Pittsburgh, serves as a key data center campus offering interconnectivity with the Pittsburgh Internet Exchange via the Data Center Interconnect (DCI) connecting to the downtown PIT1 location. Strategically situated close to the Pittsburgh airport across from the West Penn Power substation, the PIT2 data center is well-equipped for scalable high-demand compute, ecommerce, and financial workloads, providing 4.5MW of critical IT load capacity and hosting 6 onsite carriers.
