Located at Sameer Industrial Park, Nairobi, our data centre facility is the most connected in East Africa, and houses 2,000 square metres of secured space for data servers over four floors.

It offers access to carrier networks across Kenya and long distance fibre routes to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and Somalia, as well as diverse fibre routes to cable landing stations in Mombasa.

Our Nairobi facility initially was the first data centre in East Africa to hold a Tier III certification from the prestigious Uptime Institute and first in the region to be PCI DSS Certified by the Security Standards Council.

As a key player in the Easter Africa Region, Africa Data Centres takes very seriously the economic uplift of Kenya and its neighbours through digitisation. As such, contributing to the region with world-class data centre facilities is a need that we are proud to meet.

In line with its operating strategy governing the data centre management of its facilities across the continent, Africa Data Centres prioritises a water-free policy at its Nairobi hub, utilising non-potable water for all cooling requirements, and installing solar power to relieve its reliance on the grid.
