The AdaniConneX Chennai 1 Data Center is a cutting-edge hyperscale facility located in the SIPCOT IT Park, Chennai, developed through a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX. Designed to meet the rapidly growing demand for sustainable and reliable digital infrastructure in India, the data center offers an initial IT load of 17 MW, scalable up to 33 MW. Built to TIA-942B Rated 3 and 4 standards, it ensures 99.999% uptime and features energy-efficient systems with a PUE of less than 1.45. As Tamil Nadu’s first pre-certified IGBC Platinum Rated data center, it runs on up to 100% renewable energy and provides robust connectivity through its carrier-neutral setup. With advanced security, infrastructure management, and top-tier certifications, Chennai 1 is a flagship component of AdaniConneX’s ambitious plan to build a 1 GW green data center platform across India.
