Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Vice President (SVP) or Head of Sales to lead our sales organization. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned data center sales executive with a proven track record of scaling sales teams, driving revenue growth, and fostering long-term client relationships in the technology and data center industries. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy, building partnerships, and positioning OCOLO as the premier choice for data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
    • Lead the sales organization to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales efforts with product development, marketing, and operational goals.
  • Team Management:
    • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, including account executives and business development professionals.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.
  • Partnerships & Alliances:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key data center providers, technology partners, and enterprise clients.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and expand the customer base.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies to ensure efficiency and scalability.
    • Analyze and report on sales performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of the data center ecosystem, including colocation, cloud services, and managed hosting.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo).
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
