About This Data Center
Microsoft is set to build a new data center in Bergheim, Germany, as part of its significant investment program aimed at doubling AI infrastructure and cloud computing capacity. The Bergheim data center will occupy a 20-hectare site at the INKA: terra nova industrial park, with a built-out whitespace expected to cover 270,605 square feet. Construction is set to begin this year with operations anticipated to commence in 2026.
